Chatting in multiplayer games is quite essential for us too. It’s not fun to play with other people, but not be able to talk with them. That’s why today we’ll talk about how to chat in valorant!

Obviously, for single-player games, it’s not quite useful. But for multiplayer, it is, in my opinion, essential.
Imagine you’re playing some games outside with your friends. If you can talk with them, you’ll have a really good time. But if there was no communication you would get bored, and eventually, just leave back home.
As you can see, I’ve highlighted in red the party messages. Orange is for the global chat. white is the tag that tells you who will receive the message and finally blue, is the position of the chat.
That’s why we need to have a chat in multiplayer games. Especially in FPS games, where communication is the key to winning.
How to chat in Valorant?
Now for the meat of this article.
- Starting with Team Chat:
All you have to do is press enter then your message. You should see in the bottom left of the screen your chat box. If the prefix is team, that message will only be visible to your teammates. - For global chat, you have 2 ways of using it. Either press the enter, then “/all” to switch to global. Or the easier way of pressing the shift and entering keys together.
